D&P Brakes exposes 3 commands for braking, that you can use binding them to a joystick button or to a key.

The available commands are:

  • "FlyWithLua/nm/differential_left_brake" for the left brake

  • "FlyWithLua/nm/differential_right_brake" for the right brake

  • "FlyWithLua/nm/single_button_brake" for the single brake action

All these buttons can be used together. In case of conflict the last one pressed will take precedence.

How to bind a Joystick button from the X-Plane UI?

  • Open the Joystick configuration window

  • Select the desired button and press "Edit"

  • Search for the above commands (see the image below)

  • Confirm the command

  • Repeat the step for the other brake

  • You should end with something like this
